Hi everyone: We are leaving Fernie this morning and we are going to Calgary for a couple of days. Today we are taking the kids to the Calgary zoo. Its suppose to be fantastic. Our trip to Fernie was phenomenal. Yesterday we went down to Kookanusa Lake down by Montana. The scenery was unreal. The beaches were beautiful. Kids are having the most amazing time. Bye for now.

Hi everyone: Well we are still having the most wonderful time here in Fernie. Last night all of our buddies came over and all of our kids slept in a "real" tee pee. We even had a campfire inside of it. It was thundering outside and the kids were loving it. The amazing part was they all slept in the tee pee all night. Not one child came in. Katelyn went hiking with her dad yesterday in the Rockies. She was pretty amazed. Last night we had a big fish dinner at our friends place. Today we (the moms) got a chance to do some shopping and went for lunch and also squeezed in some exercise. Weather is still very warm. Bye for now.

Hi everyone: The trip is going great. I wish I could post pictures, but having problems with the camera and someone elses computer. We wake up every morning looking at the beautiful Rockies and the weather has been in the thirties every day. Yesterday we had a picnic in the park and went swimming in the river. Last night Paul Shelly entertained us around a fire and we had a big sing a long, a few drinks and a lot of laughs. Its great to be with all of our friends from the past. Gotta go and get ready for the day. Its time for serious shopping today.

Hi everyone : Its 4;15 in the morning and we just arrived in Fernie. The flight was excellent. You were right there was nothing to worry about. Beautiful day planned tomorrow. I will tell you more about it later. I need to sleep!!!!!!!!

Its the end of another school day. We are all totally drained. It has been very tiring, but also very exciting and educational at the same time. Three weeks is long enough though. Tomorrow this time I will be flying high and I do mean that literally in several ways.
Watch for me up in the skies.

Its Monday morning and we are plugging away at our assignment.
Wednesday can't come quick enough. Everyone is going for wings at Clancy's on Wednesday night. I'll celebrate with them when I get back. Have a wing and a beer for me. I will be there in spirit. Thats a scary thing to say when you are up in the air on a plane. Say a prayer for me. I must go and hopefully all of us will be in one piece by the end of the day. We are on the verge of total mental breakdown, and clawing each others eyes out. It really is time for a" sociable"or two.

Three more days before we head out west. Here is a beautiful picture taken from The Gravels Walking Trail in Port au Port West and according to the latest forecast in Fernie we will be having lots of sunshine there. Temperature today a scorching 30 degrees. The family is getting really excited. Cant wait to see all of our friends.

5 more days and we will be arriving in Calgary. Can't wait to see all of our buddies living in Alberta and BC. Its going to be some party!!!! I won't forget my workmates slaving away at graduate work at marble mountain. I promise I will do some reading of new literacies, so I won't feel guilty. If you believe that then you believe that I was miss gaultois 1978/79!!!

We only have one week before we head off into the skies. I wish I could take a boat!!!! Its going to be a great trip. The kids are so excited. Can't wait to see those rocky mountains. Gotta go, new literacies are waiting for me.

This summer we are taking a trip to Fernie BC to visit our friends and to attend their wedding. The kids are all excited and so are we.
